With over 30 years of experience in handcrafted ceramics, Thinh believes that true beauty lies not only in appearance but also in functionality. His vision is to create ceramic pieces that seamlessly blend into daily life, enhancing the home with both practicality and aesthetic charm.

 

For Thinh, ceramics must go beyond visual appeal—they should also be clean, safe, and hygienic for everyday use. His pieces are designed to serve multiple purposes, particularly in Vietnamese family meals, where they elevate the dining experience with both flavour and elegance, while honouring the rich cultural heritage of Asian traditions.

 

The Craftsmanship Behind Each Ceramic Piece: Every ceramic product embarks on an intricate journey, where achieving the perfect balance is key—lightweight, yet neither too thick nor too thin. This delicate equilibrium begins with an exceptionally meticulous clay preparation process, required far greater precision than mould-made products, which are massive  less time-consuming to produce.

We shared our vision for the lace collection with Thịnh, carefully selecting each lace pattern to test its delicacy when printed on our products. Afterward, we thoughtfully matched each lace design with a specific ceramic plate shape. Thịnh was thrilled with the outcome when the samples were ready, as the lace patterns beautifully complemented the glaze colors Thịnh had created. We selected four lace patterns to print on our collection: Tulips, Roses, Cosmos (as shown in the image), and a floral design inspired by the ancient Venetian lace of Italy.
