Woodfired Seafood Lover Plate

The Seafood Lover was designed by The Village Ceramics and handmade by Thuy. The process begins with hand-throwing each plate from a lump of clay, carefully shaping, and adjusting it to achieve a smooth, round form. Once the clay dries, Thuy skilfully adds intricate illustrations of crabs and prawns onto the surface. Each plate that emerges from the kiln is unique, with varying glaze colours and the subtle effects of the fire during firing, resulting in one-of-a-kind pieces. This collection not only elevates the aesthetic of your meals but also enhances your dining experience, awakening your senses with every bite.

Artistic Effects: If you love the natural beauty, we may choose to retain these ash marks as part of the design, creating ceramic products that bear the signature of the wood kiln firing process. However, when all ash marks are cleaned, it may leave behind natural scratches, which is an unavoidable part of the handcrafted ceramic production process.
